Speech-Language Pathologists

  • Megan Lekas, M.S., CCC-SLP, Owner

    Director of Speech-Language Pathology

    Megan Lekas is the owner of the Learning and Therapy Corner. She graduated from Denison University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Child Psychology. Megan continued her education and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology from Towson University. In 1999, Megan graduated from Loyola College with her Master of Science Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

    Megan has extensive experience evaluating and treating communication disorders in children of all ages in public schools, private schools, clinics, and private settings. She is a certified Phono- Graphix® Reading Therapist, a member of the American Speech Hearing Association (ASHA), and a member of the Maryland Speech Hearing Association. Megan is licensed in the state of Maryland and the state of Florida and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence through ASHA.

    Megan has always enjoyed working with and being around children. She has two college age children of her own giving her the ability to relate to her clients and their families both from professional and personal perspectives.

  • Karon Zablonski, M.S., CCC-SLP

    Assistant Director of Speech-Language Pathology

    Karon Zablonski is a speech-language pathologist and has been working at LTC since 2011. She earned her undergraduate degree from Buffalo State Colle in 1996 and her Master's Degree in speech-language pathology in 200 at Towson University. She worked for the Baltimore City Public School system for almost 10 years prior to staying home with her son. She loves the opportunity to meet the needs of her clients while building close relationships with them and their families. She also enjoys her role scheduling new speech-language pathology clients and helping new families feel welcome at LTC. In her free time, Karon loves to read and spend time with her family and friends. She is also slowly learning how to garden.

  • Megan Crowley, M.S., CCC-SLP


    Megan Crowley, a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), has been a part of the LTC team for 15 years. She graduated from Towson University with her Master’s Degree in SLP and first worked for Baltimore County Public Schools. She loves that LTC gives her the opportunity to work with children one on one, and to get to know their families along the way. One of her favorite places to be is sitting on the floor playing with kids! It’s exciting to see the joy and the growth that can happen when therapy is centered around a child’s interests. Megan also loves spending time with her husband of 25+ years, Adam, and their young adult daughters, Kaitlyn and MacKenzie.

  • Jackie Brown, M.S., CCC-SLP

    Jackie is a licensed and certified Speech Language Pathologist with over 25 years of experience. She received her Master's Degree and undergraduate degree from Towson University. She also holds a Maryland Teaching Certificate. Jackie has worked with both children and adults in a variety of settings. These include; home health services, private practice, preschool, elementary, middle and high school settings and early intervention.

    She has also provided clinical supervision to entry level Speech Language Pathologists and Speech Language Pathology Assistants. She is a member of the American Speech Language Hearing Association as well as other local speech organizations. Jackie is committed to keeping abreast of current best practices and providing quality speech language intervention services to her clients and their families. Jackie is both passionate and dedicated to helping children and adults become better and more effective communicators.

  • Annette Dow, M.S., CCC-SLP


    Annette has extensive experience evaluating and providing therapy for children in a variety of settings, including private and public school environments. She has worked with children with an array of speech, language, and learning abilities from early intervention to high school age students. As a mother of three who has experienced her own children develop as individuals with a variety of abilities, Annette benefits from insights into the many challenges that every child faces. She enjoys making therapy fun while catering to each child’s needs so they can be confident and successful communicators in and out of the classroom. Annette holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Speech-Language Pathology/Audiology and a Master of Science Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Towson University. She is a member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA). She is licensed in the State of Maryland and holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence through ASHA.

    I love working with children, especially preschoolers. I enjoy helping families to communicate easier. It’s fun to meet so many families and watch the children grow and develop. I love working at LTC because it’s a wonderful supportive family environment where kids can be kids.

  • Jennifer Pritchard, M.S., CCC-SLP

    Masters Degree from Emerson College in Boston, MA

    I worked at Children’s Hospital Boston and St. Johns Hospital in Detroit, before moving to Baltimore to be near family and work at Kennedy Krieger School. After taking some time off to raise my family, I began working at LTC and have truly found my work home!

    I love working with all ages, but particularly middle and high school students. I’m passionate about a variety of speech and language areas, but my absolute favorite is helping clients with social skills.

    The thing that makes LTC special is that we’re a big family. Also, I have a pretty great commute- I can walk to work!

    Personal Facts:

    I have 3 school aged children who keep me on my toes! We’re always busy with activities, but also love to snuggle up and just relax together.

  • Annie Lewis, M.S., CCC-SLP

    Annie Lewis is a certified Speech-Language Pathologist and is so excited to join the LTC Team this year! She earned two Bachelor’s Degrees from The University of Vermont (2008) in Sociology and Women’s and Gender Studies. She holds a Master’s Degree from The University of Oregon (2012) in Communication Disorders and Sciences and maintains her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Language Hearing Association. She was previously working in local hospitals assessing and treating patients with impairments related to stroke, progressive neurological disease, and/or acute respiratory illness. She made the transition to pediatric therapy through her keen interest in Childhood Language and Literacy Development. She is certified in the Phono-Graphix reading method, and uses her strong neurological background to inform all aspects of therapy. She is a Baltimore native, and in her free time she loves to be outdoors, garden, cook, and adventure with her two children, husband, and puppy.

  • Jamie Van Wyk, SLP-CFY


    Jamie joined the Learning and Therapy Corner team as a Maryland certified SLPA during the summer of 2023. She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and also earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish and Intercultural Studies. Most recently she graduated with her Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology and is completing her CFY year at Levindale and LTC. She aspires to be a bilingual SLP and is well on her way! She has a lot of experience working with children as a lead preschool teacher, teaching Spanish to children in the foster care system, and coaching a Special Olympics team. She loves being a part of the LTC family. She looks forward to providing support and making a difference in our community! 💗

  • Rachel Burgunder, M.Ed. CCC-SLP


    I have been a speech-language pathologist for 33 years. I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from University of Ohio and a Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from University of Virginia. I currently work four days per week for Baltimore City Public Schools and two half days for LTC. Areas that I am interested in are articulation, language, and use of core vocabulary for nonverbal communicators. I have mentored and supervised many new clinicians and SLP graduate students over the years. I am currently on a committee that is outlining the policies and procedures for SLP assistants and their supervisors in Baltimore City Public Schools.

    In my free time I like to read, exercise, bake bread, and spend time with my husband, three adult daughters, and friends.

  • Suzanne Pfautz, M.S., CCC-SLP

    Suzanne is a licensed and certified Speech-Language Pathologist with over 25 years of experience working with children. She holds both a Bachelor’s degree (1997) and a Master’s degree (1999) in Speech-Language Pathology form Loyola University in Baltimore, MD.

     Suzanne began her career with the Infant/Toddler Program in Baltimore City. After taking time off to raise her two daughters, she rejoined the field with Baltimore City Public schools. There, she contributed to the Infant/Toddler and Head Start Programs for over a decade. More recently, Suzanne has been a valued contractor for Baltimore County Public schools, where she specialized in working with preschool-aged children across both public and private/parochial settings. Her approach emphasizes strong collaboration with parents and families to achieve each child’s communication goals. Suzanne is excited to join the team at the Learning and Therapy Corner!

    Outside of her professional life, Suzanne and her husband Brooke have been married for 25 years and are the proud parents of two young adult daughters, Mason and Riley. In her free time Suzanne enjoys traveling, playing pickleball, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends.

  • Megan Landy, M.S., CCC-SLP

    Megan Landy is a licensed and certified Speech-Language Pathologist with over 10 years of experience working with children. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Towson University and her Master’s degree from Seton Hall University.

    Megan has worked in a variety of settings, including public and nonpublic schools, pediatric outpatient clinics, and private practice. She has a special interest in early language development and speech sound disorders, with advanced training in Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing (DTTC) and the PROMPT method for treating childhood apraxia of speech. Megan is passionate about meeting children where they are and partnering with families to support meaningful progress and help every child reach their full potential.

    Outside of work, Megan is a proud mom of two young children. She enjoys cooking and trying new foods with her husband, appreciates a good crime documentary, and loves exploring her creativity through design.

Occupational Therapists

  • Laura Rosenberg, M.S., OTR/L

    Director of Occupational Therapy Services

    Laura Rosenberg is an Occupational Therapist (OT) and the Director of Occupational Therapy services at Learning and Therapy Corner. She graduated from Towson University with her Master’s Degree in OT in 2011. She has previously worked at Sinai Hospital, working with adults and children, as well as an out-patient hand therapy clinic. She has worked at Learning and Therapy Corner for almost 11 years.

    She enjoys working with children with sensory processing challenges and specializes in feeding therapy. She has found feeding therapy to be rewarding as she watches her clients expand their diets and build positive routines during family mealtimes.

  • Melissa Meyer, M.S., OT/L


    Melissa Meyer has over 20 years of experience as an occupational therapist working with all age groups in both outpatient and inpatient settings, with a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Towson University. She has been a group fitness instructor for over 15 years, giving her further expertise assisting clients with strengthening and motor coordination/agility skills. In addition, Melissa has training using Zones of Regulation for sensory integration concerns as well as Handwriting Without Tears to address fine motor and handwriting skills.

    Fun Facts:
    Melissa enjoys traveling to visit her daughters who are studying in Paris and Florida, relaxing on the beach, dancing, playing with her dog Jax, and attending concerts! She and her husband have 2 daughters and a son who keep them very busy!

  • Hope Buler, M.S., OTR/L


    I received my bachelor’s degree in psychology and my master’s degree in occupational therapy. I have been an occupational therapist for over 20 years. I recently received a post baccalaureate certificate in autism studies. I enjoy working as an OT because I love working with people, especially children. As an OT, I get to help children become more functional, stronger, and independent with their fine motor, self-care, sensory/motor, and visual motor skills. It is so rewarding to be a part of their growth/progress.

    2. I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, walking, and binge-watching shows.

  • Kelly Clute, M.S., OTR/L


    I graduated with my Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Towson University in 2012. I have worked in adult acute rehabilitation and outpatient pediatrics. As a board certified occupational therapist (OTR), I pursue continued learning of evidence-based treatment practice and incorporate this into sessions. I enjoy helping children reach the best of their abilities through a creative and client-centered approach. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my kids who are 7 and 4 years old, crafting, and gardening.

  • Morgan Gibau, M.S., OTR/L


    Morgan graduated from Elizabethtown College, Pa in 2022 with her Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences with minors in psychology and human services. In 2023, she graduated from Elizabethtown College with her Master's of Occupational Therapy. Morgan is a current member of the American Occupational Therapy Association and has presented her research at the Pennsylvania Occupational Therapy Association conference.

    She has always been interested in the sensory system, visual motor integration, fine motor skill development, and visual perception skills. She aspires to get a pediatric certification of some kind in the future. Morgan is a young practitioner who is excited to work with the variety of children at the Learning and Therapy Corner! Fun Facts:

    Morgan is a new Marylander, as she has just moved from New Jersey. She has always had a love for children, being a babysitter for 10 years and being a lifeguard. In 2023, she went to Vietnam for a service trip working with children in orphanages and various facilities throughout the country.

Reading Specialists/Tutors

  • Katie Hudson

    Director of Tutoring Services

    Katie Hudson is an experienced educator with over 23 years working with children across a wide range of ages and educational settings. She holds a degree in Secondary Education and has taught students from Pre-K and Kindergarten through middle and high school. For the past 10 years, Katie has focused on tutoring, supporting children in areas such as reading, comprehension, and executive functioning skills.

    Before coming to LTC, Katie has led a large-scale tutoring initiative that provided free reading support to children in underserved communities. Under her leadership, the program served thousands of students, helping them build foundational literacy skills and grow as confident learners.

    Katie is dedicated to creating safe, supportive learning environments where children feel capable, empowered, and encouraged. She brings a compassionate and strengths-based approach to her work, believing that when children feel strong and seen, their academic success naturally follows.

     When she’s not working with kids, she’s probably watching one of her kids play lacrosse, singing along to 90s country, or planning her next beach trip.

  • Amanda Koehler

    Reading Specialist/Tutor

    Amanda is a 2016 graduate from Towson University with a Master’s in Early Childhood Education. She then taught 1st grade for one year in BCPS, followed by 6 years in inclusion Special Education. She stepped away from full time teaching in June 2024 prior to the birth of her second daughter. Amanda spent the next year at home with both her girls but is now excited to get back to teaching in a different way through LTC’s tutoring program.

     Amanda is passionate about early literacy and enjoys supporting children in their reading journeys. She is certified in Orton Gillingham and loves to use hands on strategies in her instruction.

  • Kristen Gordon, M.Ed.

    Reading Specialist/Director of Little Corner Academy

    Kristen Gordon is the founder of Little Corner Academy along with Megan Lekas. She is also a lead teacher at Little Corner Academy (LCA). Kristen has 10 years of experience working in Baltimore County Public Schools. All ten years she was a self-contained special education teacher for the Communication and Learning Support program. Kristen has a Master’s Degree from Towson University in Education as a Reading Specialist and a Bachelor’s Degree in Infant/Primary Special Education. She has an advanced professional certificate from the State of Maryland in the following areas: generic special education 1-8, early childhood education preK-3, reading specialist, early education 1-6, and middle school. In addition, Kristen is trained in Floortime and has received a certificate of achievement for successfully completing Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) Training and is CPR certified.

Psychologists & Therapists

  • Kristin O'Donnell, Ph.D., NCSP

    Director of Psychological Services
    Licensed Psychologist, MD License #04958

    Dr. Kristin O’Donnell, also known as “Dr. O”, brings over 20 years of professional experience to the families of LTC. Her broad experience includes work in the public and private school setting, the Kennedy Krieger Institute, and private practice. With a strong background in evaluation services and behavior programming, she collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to create recommendations that will work for both the family and the school. Dr. O’Donnell also takes the time to get to know your child and then creates an environment that is fun and engaging. She believes that it is important for the child to feel invested and involved in the therapeutic process. Outside of the office, Dr. O’Donnell enjoys spending time with her family, coaching field hockey, and playing tennis with friends.

    Dr. O’Donnell graduated from Franklin and Marshall College with a B.A. in Psychology. She received an M.S. Ed in Psychological Services from the University of Pennsylvania and then went on to complete her Ph.D. in School Psychology at Temple University. Dr. O’Donnell is a Licensed Psychologist in the State of Maryland.

  • Erin Robinson, MSW, LCSW-C

    Erin Robinson completed her undergraduate studies at Messiah College in 2002, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Child Welfare and Family Studies. In 2006, she graduated from the University of Maryland, Baltimore School of Social Work with her Master of Social Work degree. She is a Licensed Certified Social Worker/Clinical in the state of Maryland. Currently, Erin is a full-time clinical social worker at a nonpublic school in Baltimore City and works with children with a variety of special needs ranging in ages from 6 to 21. She also has experience working in the social services and private practice arenas and recently joined the Learning and Therapy Corner.

    Erin has over 15 years of experience working with children and their families as a Licensed Social Worker. She has an extensive background working with children and adolescents with disabilities, including Autism and other mental health diagnoses. Erin is MSDE certified and is certified in First Aid, CPR and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI). She is also certified to provide clinical supervision and is certified in TF-CBT and Play Therapy. She loves helping children and their families develop a range of prosocial communication and coping skills through fun and creative methods. She is a proud dog mom to an almost two-year-old Boston Terrier named Gus who is a certified Therapy dog with the Pets on Wheels organization.

Canine Specialists

  • Leon


    Leon is a 9 year old Westie. He has been coming to work with Megan L. since he was a puppy. The children love to stop in the doorway to say hello to him. Leon is super calm and never makes a peep while at 'work.' He definitely brings out a lot of communication and smiles from our little ones. Each morning when Megan says 'you want to go to work" he gets very excited and jumps around and then runs to the door, ready to go! LTC couldn't ask for a better co-worker!

  • Gus


    Gus is an almost 4-year-old Boston Terrier. Gus has been a trained and certified therapy dog since he was 1-year-old. He loves meeting other dogs and new people. He also enjoys traveling to different places like schools, nursing homes, hospitals, and colleges to give people lots of licks and snuggles.

    One of Gus’s best skills is to help people feel calm and happy when they are feeling worried or sad. Even though Gus can’t talk, he can sense when someone needs a friend and is eager to cheer them up. He just started helping his Mom Ms. Erin provide counseling services at The Learning and Therapy Corner and when Ms. Erin says “Gus, it’s time to go to work!” he comes running with excitement and can’t wait to jump into the car!
